Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Autogrid.ch processes personal data when you visit the platform, create an account, publish listings, purchase packages or contact other users.

1. Controller
The controller responsible for data processing is Autogrid.ch, operated by SargasWeb, Grossmatt 2, 8910 Affoltern am Albis, Switzerland. For privacy requests, you can contact us by e-mail at info@autogrid.ch. No telephone number is provided as a privacy contact.
2. Data we process

Account data such as name, company name, e-mail address, password in encrypted form, language settings and login status.

Profile and seller data such as address, postal code, city, canton, optional phone number, dealer details, logo and branding where provided by you.

Listing data such as vehicle make, model, year, price, mileage, equipment, description, images, location and listing status.

Communication data from contact forms, listing inquiries, e-mail notifications and support requests.

Payment and package data such as selected package, price, term, payment status, Stripe references, invoice or billing details where needed for processing.

Technical data such as IP address, date and time of access, browser, device, operating system, referrer, pages viewed, security logs and cookie settings.
3. Purposes of processing

Providing and operating the Autogrid.ch vehicle platform.

Creating and managing user accounts, listings, dealer profiles and favourites.

Publishing, reviewing, sorting and displaying vehicle listings.

4. Publication of listing data
Data that you publish in a listing or dealer profile may be publicly visible. This includes in particular vehicle data, images, location details, price, description, logo, company name and contact details if you enable their public display. You are responsible for not uploading content for which you do not have the required rights or that may not be published.
5. Contact forms and inquiries
When you use a contact form or send a vehicle inquiry, we process the data entered in order to deliver the message, prevent abuse and enable follow-up questions. Providers receive the information necessary to handle the inquiry.
6. Payments via Stripe
Paid packages are processed via Stripe. Payment data, billing data, business details, name, e-mail address, address, postal code, country, phone number or tax information may be collected directly by Stripe and processed by Stripe. Autogrid receives only the information necessary to confirm, activate, account for and trace the payment. Stripe privacy and contractual terms also apply to payment processing.
7. Cookies and Google Analytics

We use necessary cookies so that the website, language settings, login, security, forms and cookie selection work properly.

Google Analytics is loaded only if you accept analytics cookies and a valid Google Analytics ID is configured in the system.

8. Recipients and service providers
We share personal data only where necessary for platform operation, contract performance, security, payment processing, support or legal obligations. Recipients may include hosting and IT service providers, e-mail service providers, payment providers such as Stripe, analytics providers such as Google, authorities, advisers or parties to whom you send an inquiry through the platform.
9. International data transfers
Some service providers may process personal data in Switzerland, the European Economic Area or other countries, in particular where international services such as Stripe or Google are used. For transfers to countries without adequate data protection, we ensure appropriate safeguards where required, such as standard data protection clauses, or rely on legally permitted exceptions.

We retain personal data only for as long as necessary for the stated purposes, contract performance, safeguarding claims, preventing abuse, accounting obligations or legal duties. Listing and account data may still be contained for a limited period in backups, logs or accounting records after deletion or expiry.

We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against unauthorised access, loss, misuse or alteration. These include access restrictions, encrypted passwords, HTTPS, security logs, backups and role or permission concepts. However, absolutely secure data transmission over the internet cannot be guaranteed.

13. Automated decisions
Autogrid does not make automated individual decisions that have legal effects on you or similarly significantly affect you. Security and spam filters may automatically generate signals to prevent abuse and protect the platform.
14. Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy if the platform, services used, legal requirements or internal processes change. The current version is published on Autogrid.ch.
